It has been one week since leaving Canada, and already so many stories to tell: Received a fabulous welcome from fellow kayakers, Paul and Natasha and hoping to attend the Coastbuster Kayak Symposium (http://www.mmcl.co.nz/CB2010); Got oriented with maps, money and traffic in Auckland; Set off out of Auckland by train to Papakura; Picked up in Buckland by Antony and Roger who have a habit of collecting travellers and spent the night at their place; Soaked in the hot pools at Waingaro; Strolled the surf beaches of Raglan! So far, so good!
